THANKS To ....

I want to Thank Mike Drew of ZEBRA GRAPHICS in Easthampton , MA for the massive amount of work he put into this site with the original design, graphics, and much of the content.

Mike is busy these days growing ZEBRA GRAPHICS and has past the web site duties on to me , the host of the gettogether and owner of this website.

My lack of knowledge of dreamweaver, my other life "demands" and sometimes my procrastination means this site does not get updated or is as current as it should or could be. Hopefully I'll be better this year !

( I wasn't, I was WORSE !! )

About NEDGT

Northeast Diesel GetTogether grew out of a desire of GM diesel enthusiasts to meet face to face outside cyber space.

After many months of enthusiasts messaging each other about their desire to get together, Terry Mazurkewicz of Bear Creek Remodelers, and Bill Pendergast of Pendergast Lawn Service LLC grabbed the bull by the horns and put together the first annual event in September 2002.

The Gettogether participants are mainly GM 6.2, 6.5, and 6.6 Duramax enthusiasts. Dodge and Ford enthusiasts are welcome to join us. (And we promise not to pick on them too much.)

The
2007 Northeast Diesel Get Together is now HISTORY !

We broke our past records with attendance both in number of trucks and participants. Highlights of the weekend are hard to choose, with everyone having their own. My favorite is probrably the potluck / icebreaker on Friday evening because its relaxed, and everyone sits around the dining room table or just hangs aroundkitchen chatting - about most anything.

Myself and the organizing group had ambitious goals for this years weekend, and many of them were met.

What happens next year will be determined before Thanksgiving, with our goals as always to provide a fun, interesting weekend.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported this years efforts.

Terry and the Organizing group.

The website main purpose is to promote, provide information and maintain a registration area for the annual GetTogether.

We are also trying to make the website a destination on the web. We have added pages for past GetTogethers, CT dyno days, event pictures, a "RIGS" page where an enthusiast can show off his GM truck with a short profile and picture display, links pages for other events, venders, or information of interest to GM light diesel enthusiasts.

Enjoy the website!

Notes about this year's get together

So what's up with last year's and this year's one day get togethers ?

Life sometimes throws us all curve balls , and the host of this event is no exception.

After burning the candle at both ends (despite the help of a dedicated organizing group for the 07 event) the usual controled craziness became un-controlled.

Needless to say, with the family health issues(and my own), diesel prices , the downsliding of the economy and actually being a busy contractor this summer it was decided to keep the event simple this year.

Officially the event this year is one day, HOWEVER my home will still be open Friday evening for pot luck , and we could find ourselves at the dragstrip on Sunday.

Back in 2004 we did a one day event, and drew a large crowd and had a GREAT Time. (participants came from as far away as Montreal and Western PA.)

We hope many of you can join us this year , be it your first gettogether or 6th !

Terry, event host
